NEW EASTER FESTIVAL! ANNOUNCING THE FISKARS EASTER SESSIONS 9-15 APRIL 2022

We’re thrilled to introduce the first Lead! event to take place in Fiskars outside the summer season. We hope that this series of chamber concerts, seminars and masterclasses will form part of a new tradition, and our Easter Sessions will be held for the first time this spring in the period of 9-15 April, with concerts on 13, 14 and 15 April. We’re proud to present our young musicians who’ll form the Lead! String Ensemble together with their mentors Alexander Gordon, Marko Ylönen and Tero Latvala.

There will be music by Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Dvorak and Sibelius, and as usual, seminars and career mentorship for the young artists. 

Jukka-Pekka Saraste will be joined by Kristian Sallinen and Caleb Young in leading the festival’s final concert, which includes Stravinsky’s iconic ballet, Apollon Musagète. 

All concerts to be held in Lukaali at 18:00, 13-15 April 2022

Entrance is free, but we’ll be collecting donations to Ukraine via the Red Cross. We urge our audiences to give what they can.
